A delegation from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has traveled to Moscow in an effort to restart dialogue, the organization's president, Ignacio Cassis, announced.
The president of the organization, Cassis, and the OSCE Secretary General, Feridun Hadi Sinirlioglu of Turkey, met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday evening and this morning. Each meeting lasted two hours, he said.
The OSCE observer mission deployed in eastern Ukraine in 2014 was withdrawn from the country after the start of the occupation in 2022.
