It's official. Jürgen Klopp is the new coach of the German national team. The 59-year-old coach, whom the German Football Association wanted at all costs after the disappointment at the World Cup, was officially presented today in Frankfurt as the new coach of the German national team.
Klopp takes over as the Panzers' successor from Julian Nagelsmann and is expected to sign a contract that will keep him in charge until the 2030 World Cup.
After nine seasons at Liverpool, this will be his first experience of managing a national team. He was in charge of the Red Bull teams before accepting the German Football Association's offer to take charge of the "Panzers".
