Elvis Kabashi has been officially signed by Pontedera in the Italian Serie C. The 31-year-old has returned to the third category of Italian football, while in the first half of the season he was part of Reggio Emilia in Serie B.

Kabashi played with Albania's U-19 team before turning down an invitation from the Rossoneri, saying he felt Italian and was also waiting for the Azzurri. The midfielder also said no to Partizan about 10 years ago, while he was focused on loans from Juventus.

"The Lady" bought his card from Empoli. His greatest achievement at the Bianconeri was being included on the bench for Serie A matches. He never made his debut, even though he was considered a great talent at the time.
