The Transparency Board has published the new wholesale and retail fuel prices.
Oil, whose price was reduced yesterday to 210 lek per liter, will now be sold for 217 lek.
Meanwhile, gasoline will be sold at 176 lek/liter.

The Transparency Board on April 10, 2026, at its next meeting decided:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 217 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 205 ALL/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 176 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 164 ALL/liter.
The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 10rd, at 8:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.
We draw the attention of every wholesale and retail operator of oil by-products on the obligation to implement this decision.
In case of violations found by different operators, the suspension of the activity will be imposed.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
EXPLANATION: Referring to Normative Act No. 1, Date 3.4.2026 “On an addition to Law No. 61/2012, “On excise duties in the Republic of Albania,” as amended, which provides that if the retail price for diesel is higher than 220 lek/liter, or for gasoline is higher than 200 lek/liter, the 80% excise duty level shall be applied. Based on the application of the methodology for calculating the retail sales ceiling prices, the prices are below the limit of Normative Act No. 1, date 3.4.2026, and consequently the excise duty level shall be applied in full, 100%.
