Activist Erlind Xhindi spoke at News24 about the protest held the day before, the clashes with the police and the action expected to be taken in the coming days.

Xhindi said that many of the majority names were near the shopping center, while according to him, only one vehicle was hit with eggs.

"Many names of the majority were at the shopping center park. Only one car was hit with eggs, the Vlora MP. To avoid confrontation at the shopping center, the police are making noise. Yesterday there was an even higher number of police forces," he added.

Speaking about upcoming developments on September 12, where Diaspora will also be present, Xhindi said that protesters expect a large turnout and warned of a siege of the Parliament. According to him, this movement is a continuation of the protests that have taken place over the past 102 days.

Many names of the majority were in the parking lot of the shopping center. Only one car was hit with eggs, the deputy of Vlora. To avoid confrontation at the shopping center, the police are making noise. Yesterday there was an even higher number of police forces. The information we have from the Diaspora, I think they have agreed. We will have a siege of the Parliament. The resistance will be for us all to come out. Together with the children. With strollers, with blankets, with sheets, a week, sitting there! But 200 thousand people where will they take them? They have thought about it. This is resistance that comes from a protest of 102 days. We were not heard as we should by the majority and we were not read as we should by the opposition. I have nothing to say about the small parties, except from one deputy. We have expected the small parties, and the Democrats, but not Berishe and the Socialists, but not Rilindas. "In these 13 years, Albania has become a diaspora, there have been so many Albanians leaving. Foreign banknotes have been devalued, which the bright-minded Rama calls a strengthening of the lek," he said.
