On the 74th consecutive day of protests against Prime Minister Edi Rama and his cabinet, on the occasion of Youth Day, speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office building continued with strong messages from the younger generation. A young woman took the floor to denounce the immigration crisis, the inability to build a future in the country, and the government's forgetfulness towards districts and villages.

The young woman stated that the current government's policies are forcing the sons and daughters of Albania to leave the country, while emphasizing that only the militants of power have guarantees for the future:

"Today, on this Youth Day, I want to talk about the reality we see every day. Albania is losing its youth due to the policies that this government has created. We are losing the girls and boys who should have built this country, the students, the professionals, the entrepreneurs and the dreams of an entire generation. We are studying but without knowing what will happen to us! Only the patronageists have a secure future in Albania! We are not managing to survive in Albania, let alone seek a future here! We are only seeing the future abroad because they are not enabling us a future in Albania!"

She further addressed the differentiation and lack of basic services for young people living outside the capital:

"Another problem I want to touch on is that Albania is not just Tirana! Albania is also in small towns, in villages! Has the government ever thought about them? There are no services, universities, social services do not work for young people. When we have a problem, have you thought about where we will turn?!" she declared from the protest podium.
