Vjosa Osmani, in an interview with France24, opposed a statement by a journalist who described the KLA as "separatist", emphasizing that it was a liberation force.
"Today is June 12, one of the most important dates in the history of Kosovo, where not the separatists as you mentioned, but the liberators, together with the support of NATO forces, liberated Kosovo from a genocidal regime," Osmani said.
In the same interview, she emphasized the need for compromise between political parties in Kosovo to create sustainable institutions.
Osmani also suggested cooperation with all parties, except the Serbian List.
