News24 has learned that over 7 thousand kg of expired flour, which was blocked by Durrës Customs in cooperation with the National Food Authority, was destined for the company AMORE PINSA PRODUCTIONS SHPK, with an address in Durrës.
This company, according to data, deals with the production and retail and wholesale distribution of frozen pizza.
The company, owned by Albanians Agron Dema and Vincenzo Salvo, also deals with the production, distribution and sale of bread, as well as fresh packaged dough.
A day earlier, Durrës Customs blocked 2.500 kg of rice flour and 5.150 kg of pizza flour from the company AMORE PINSA PRODUCTIONS SHPK. Both products had expired in April last year. The entire blocked quantity of flour will be destroyed by Durrës Customs in cooperation with the National Food Authority.
