This morning, on the show "Time to Wake Up", lawyer Greta Ambeli was invited to speak on the topic of road accidents and the compensation that citizens can receive in such cases.

Ambeli emphasized that a significant increase in the number of accidents has been observed, underlining that one of the main reasons remains the careless behavior of drivers.

"There is an increased number of accidents and one of them is the careless behavior of drivers who, even though they have a driving license, often do not know the rules. There are cases when they become overconfident and careless, where even though they know that in residential areas they cannot drive faster than 40 km/h, they ignore this rule and cause accidents, often fatal," she stated.

The lawyer also explained that in cases where the driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or drives without a license, the damage is initially covered by the insurance company, but then the company files a lawsuit to recover the amount paid.

"In the end, it is the citizen who pays," emphasized Ambeli, appealing for greater awareness and respect for road traffic rules.
