Guest on the show 'This Week' on News24 of moderator Nisida Tufa, Edi Paloka targeted several opposition members who have left the opposition and joined Rama, while not using names.
He said that within the DP there is no representation crisis, but a change in the structure and organizational scheme is needed.
"The DP has been ready to take power for 12 years, but we are in an imposed opposition. When I say we are not in the best situation, I mean precisely the fact that we are in an opposition imposed by a dictatorial government, which is repressive. Under this dictatorship for 12 years, it is not easy, which is why we are in this situation today.
It is enough to look at the structures, thousands of DP members have left Albania altogether, some of them leave out of despair and fatigue, they go to the side, the opposition is difficult, not everyone can resist.
There are also those who have left because Rama has lured them. With jobs, building permits or tourist villages. These are public facts, but the day will come when I will also speak with names. The reorganization of the DP is a necessity. We may need to change the structure and scheme, but this starts at the grassroots level. It is not a solution to problems if you remove X or put Y in the DP's dome. I do not see a crisis of representation.
