PDK and Alliance MPs have criticized the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, accusing his government of political regression, weakening of Kosovo's international position, and failures in important sectors, including energy.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP, Enver Hoxhaj, has stated that the lack of internal political stability has been directly reflected in Kosovo's international position.
According to Hoxhaj, since 2019, Kosovo governments have not shown sufficient will and ambition to advance the country's international subjectivity.
"Foreign policy is just an extension of domestic policy. If there is no domestic policy, there is no foreign policy," Hoxhaj declared to EO.
He said that Kosovo has failed to secure new recognitions, membership in international organizations, or advance towards candidate status for the European Union.
"Kosovo has had virtually no foreign policy in the last seven years, from 2019 until now, and this situation shows the political misery in which Kosovo is," said Hoxhaj.
The former Foreign Minister has also criticized the Brussels Agreement and the Ohrid Annex, which he claims have damaged the state of Kosovo and created space for the functioning of two political systems.
"If there was a blow that broke the back, that struck the state of Kosovo to the core, it is the Brussels-Ohrid agreement," he declared.
Hoxhaj has also claimed that the agreements have given Serbs in Kosovo expanded autonomy and that some of their elements have been implemented unilaterally.
