The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, described the March 22 protest as a turning point in the relationship between citizens and the government.

In a media appearance, Blushi stated that the massive participation showed, according to him, the determination of citizens to confront what he called a degraded system, based on crime and police pressure.

He stressed that citizens are willing to make sacrifices to change the situation in the country, accusing the government of corruption and criminal connections that, according to him, have hindered Albania's European integration and damaged its future.

Blushi warned that the protests will not stop, but will continue as a form of pressure on the government. He considered them necessary for, according to him, the restoration of democracy and the country's European orientation.

In his statement, he accused Prime Minister Edi Rama and state structures of distorting the will of citizens and maintaining power through corruption, fear and propaganda.

Declaration:

March 22 of Democracy was transformed last night into a day of triumph for Freedom, the day of confronting the Narco-dictatorship of Edi Rama, which has lost all state, political and human legitimacy, being clearly identified and discredited before the whole world as a police regime, incriminated and kleptocratic, an enemy of freedoms, rights and human dignity, but also of political pluralism and democracy.
Thousands of Albanians from Tirana and all over the country stood up last night with courage and bravery to declare the end of a rotten system that is only kept afloat by crime and police state terror.
Deep gratitude to every citizen who dealt a strong blow to Edi Rama's degraded government, proving that this people never accept corruption, poverty, injustice and daily fraud as normality.
Albanians are ready for any sacrifice and to pay any price for Freedom, to liberate Albania from a criminal organization that, with its corruption and incrimination, has not only blocked European integration, but has also taken hostage the future of the country.
The Freedom Party condemns in the strongest possible terms the criminal violence exerted against peaceful protesters, the shameful kidnappings of citizens and minors, as well as the organized aggression against the opposition leader, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, and opposition MPs.
The most prestigious world media have massively covered the very serious situation that occurred yesterday in the protest, criminal acts of a Narco-dictatorship that has entered its darkest phase, where the law has been replaced by violence and the state by a criminal organization, which is also terrified of freedom of speech and which yesterday fired the independent journalist, Ilir Babarmo, just because he openly criticized the monstrous theft of Edi Rama, Belinda Balluku and the entire Government.
This open terror is the clearest proof of the panic that has gripped Edi Rama and his clique. A government that is afraid of its own citizens is a deposed government, whose only destination is the end and crumbling beneath the feet of the sovereign.
Thousands of Albanians from across the country showed yesterday that the people are ready to take their destinies into their own hands, to restore their trampled freedom and dignity, and to build a future free from fear and injustice.
The continuation of unstoppable protests is a vital necessity for the European future of the country, which is being held hostage by Edi Rama and the criminal structure that has taken the entire state hostage, that has deformed the will of the citizens and continues to hold power through violence, corruption, fear and propaganda.
With a regime that does not listen, does not reflect, and that every day deepens lawlessness and robbery against citizens, confrontation is the only way out.
Only through peaceful, united, and unwavering resistance can true freedom and democracy be restored in Albania.
The Freedom Party, which is today the most aggressive political force of the Drug Regime, whose President, Ilir Meta, continues to remain a political prisoner without any evidence or criminal facts against him, is more determined than ever to make any sacrifice, to pay any price, until it shortens the last days of a government built on crime, corruption and the theft of the will of Albanians.
