The OSCE Presence welcomes the consensus adoption by the parliament of the amendments to the Rules of Procedure. This marks a positive step for political dialogue and the functioning of parliamentary democracy.
The changes reflect a decision of the Constitutional Court, strengthen reciprocity between the majority and the opposition, and expand the space for a more active participation of all forces in parliament.
Proper implementation of the Rules of Procedure will be essential to ensure an inclusive and effective parliamentary practice and to support further progress on Albania's reform priorities.
