Amidst the scent of the sea and the dynamic rhythm of summer days, Green Coast brought back one of its most beloved cultural traditions, the Book Fair, for the fifth consecutive year.
For 4 consecutive days, the seaside promenade was transformed into an open reading and meeting space, where vacationers and visitors had the opportunity to discover new titles, revisit their favorite authors, and make books a natural part of their vacations.
Organized by Green Coast in collaboration with the publishing house "Albas" and writer Rita Petro, the fair brought a diverse selection of titles from Albanian and foreign literature, books for different age groups, as well as the most sought-after publications of the moment.
The fifth edition came under the concept of “Pages of the Coast”, with a new identity and a more romantic spirit, inspired by the meeting of books with the sea. Along the promenade, book stands became part of the summer landscape and created an atmosphere where reading, relaxation and conversations about literature naturally intertwined.
There was high interest from both Albanian holidaymakers and foreign visitors, who found a rich selection of English language titles. A special corner was dedicated to younger readers, with books adapted for different age groups, turning the fair into an attractive experience for the whole family.
This year, this activity culminated with a poetry evening organized for the first time at the Green Coast Hotel MGallery Collection. In an atmosphere dedicated to art and the written word, renowned writers Rita Petro and Mimoza Ahmeti performed before the audience some of their most beautiful poems, inspired by the sea and natural beauty.
The verses were accompanied by the melodious voice of Kamela Islamaj, creating an emotional dialogue of poetry with music. Amidst the sounds of nature and starlight, the evening gave the audience the opportunity to experience literature beyond the pages of the book, through the voices of the authors and the sounds of music.
With four days dedicated to reading and an evening where poetry was combined with music, the fifth edition of the Book Fair enriched the Green Coast's summer calendar with another cultural experience.
