Panic on the coast of Fethiye, Turkey, after a tourist ship with 115 people on board caught fire on Thursday morning, August 13.
The fire is believed to have started in the ship's galley and spread rapidly, forcing passengers and crew to jump into the sea wearing life jackets. Coastguard teams, port authorities and other ships in the area immediately intervened to evacuate those on board.

According to Turkish media, all 115 people were rescued. Two people were taken to hospital due to smoke inhalation, while the children underwent medical checks as a precautionary measure.
The fire was brought under control by emergency crews, but the ship suffered significant material damage. An operation is currently underway to tow it to shore.
Turkish authorities have launched investigations to determine the exact cause of the fire.
