415 American soldiers have been injured since the American and Israeli operation against Iran began.

This is stated in the Pentagon statement.

"During combat operations, 271 army servicemen, 63 navy sailors, 19 marines and 62 air force servicemen were injured," the agency specified.

Most of the injured have already returned to duty.

As Dan Kaine, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, previously stated, most of the injuries to US service members were caused by Iranian drone attacks.

Thirteen American service members were killed in combat operations. Six of them died in Kuwait and one in Saudi Arabia. The others were killed when a US refueling plane was shot down.

Recall that on February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran and carried out airstrikes on several cities. As a result of the attacks that day, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed. In response, Iran launched missile attacks on Israeli territory and attacked American military bases in the Persian Gulf countries.

Iran, the United States, and their allies agreed to a two-week ceasefire on the night of April 8, 2026.

On April 11-12, talks between Iran and the United States took place in Islamabad, mediated by Pakistan, but yielded no results.
