Renowned IT expert Gent Progni was one of the speakers at the massive protest taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office. From the podium of the rally, Progni issued a strong warning regarding freedom of speech and suspicious attempts to censor online broadcasts of the protest.
He has publicly denounced attempts at technological intervention aimed at blocking social networks, making a direct appeal to the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP).
"In violation of the law, they are trying to block social networks, I call on AKEP not to be part of these blockages," declared Progni, referring to the problems with the airwaves and live broadcasts that citizens and media are encountering on the boulevard.
