Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, in an extraordinary press conference exploded with accusations and criticism, attacking everyone, starting with his eternal rival, Barcelona, continuing with those who seek to take over the club, while also touching on the most sensitive issue of this period, the Valverde-Tchouameni dispute. Initially, Perez dismissed the rumors that he was ill, confirmed that his health is perfect and that he has no intention of leaving the club's management, but announced that new elections will be held and that anyone who wants to challenge is open. His strongest accusation was again in relation to the refereeing issue, what is known in Spain as the Negreiera affair:
"I would have won more in La Liga, but that didn't happen after they kicked us out. UEFA must also intervene for this, to which we will send the full file. I'm not here for referees to get rich with Barcelona's money. We will go to the end of this matter, the most corrupt in the history of football.", said Perez.
This statement by the Real boss could not pass in silence, on the contrary, Barcelona's reaction was immediate: "We would like to inform you that our legal department is carefully reviewing Perez's statements and allegations. They are currently being analyzed and the necessary measures are being assessed.", was read, among other things, in the reaction of the Blaugrana club.
Finally, Perez also touched on the Valverde-Tchouameni feud: "Things like this happen every day, they always have", said Perez. According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid has found out who the spy is within the team, it is Dani Ceballos who will leave at the end of this season.
