The Polish Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Russia due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and Moscow's official declaration of Warsaw as an "unfriendly" state.
This was stated in an official statement published on the website of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
The ministry also advised Polish citizens currently in Russia to leave the territory by available commercial and private means, unless personal, family or professional circumstances require them to remain in the country.
The document emphasizes that the possibilities of providing consular assistance to Polish citizens in Russia are increasingly limited. This is due to the decision of the Russian authorities to close the Polish Consulates General in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad, which led to a reduction in the number of diplomatic and consular personnel.
