A road accident was recorded in Vërtop, along the Berat-Poliçan national axis, where a vehicle went off the road and fell from a height of several meters.

According to preliminary information, a Toyota vehicle, traveling from Berat towards Poliçan, lost control and ended up off the road.

As a result of the accident, three people were injured, a 40-year-old man and his two daughters, aged 14 and 9, who were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The injured were urgently transported to the Berat Regional Hospital, where they are under the care of doctors.

Numerous police forces have arrived at the scene, and are conducting investigative actions to clarify the causes and dynamics of the accident.
