A police operation conducted in the early hours of Tuesday, in the area of ​​Agia Paraskevi, in Attica, Greece, led to the arrest of one person and the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics.

According to Greek authorities, police officers attempted to stop a vehicle with two people inside for inspection. The driver of the vehicle disobeyed the police order and sped away.

After a few minutes, the vehicle was stopped by police forces. During the search inside the car, 49 packages of cannabis were found, with a total weight of 61 kilograms and 250 grams.

One of the two people in the vehicle was arrested, while the other person fled and is being sought by authorities.

Investigations continue to fully unravel the case and determine the role of the persons involved in the transportation of narcotics.
