A young man who spoke during the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building has issued strong accusations against the political class, pointing out the huge gap between the luxury of those in power and the daily suffering of Albanian citizens.

The young man emphasized that the indifference of politicians comes from the comfort of being in power indefinitely, while proposing the establishment of term limits according to democratic models:

"Our politicians are bloggers, posting photos from the beaches, drinking expensive wine, and there are hundreds of thousands of Albanians who don't know how they will make it through the month, suffering in healthcare, justice, and education. Why does this happen? This happens when politicians get complacent and say 'this people won't stand up'. Some countries have set limits for politicians, no more than two terms, so that power is not centralized in the hands of one person and they are ridiculed like here."

Further, he brought to attention how the governance model works where politics is used for personal gain and not to serve the public:

"If someone works with dedication, they will foam at the mouth after 8 years in office, so much so that when they are finished they say 'I did my job and now I'm going to open my arms'. But here it's not seen as work, but 'grab whatever you can grab' and as a result, taxes are wasted. Now the cup is full, it's spilled!"

At the conclusion of his speech in front of the square, the young man conveyed a message of optimism for the continuation of civic resistance:

"All of us here are those who for 3 decades have felt powerless, we have lost hope. Now we are here, we have found both hope and strength, because we who come here are much more: we are both the strength and the hope of this country," he concluded.
