On the 70th day of the protest against the government, activist and one of the organizers of the resistance, Arben Kola, has declared for News24 that the protest will continue in the coming days.
"Today marks 70 days. No one would have believed 69 days ago that this would be the biggest battle ever fought against Rama," said Kola. He said that protesters will continue to gather every day, while emphasizing that the goal is to continue the resistance until September.
"We will continue like every day until September. We are in contact with the diaspora, we have some of them among us. They will not be on vacation this year, so the revolt will continue," declared the activist. Kola said that the organizers and protesters who have been at the forefront of this movement since the beginning continue to be present.
"Let the voices continue. Those who started this protest are staying. The real original actors are still here," he said.
In conclusion, Kola emphasized the protesters' determination to continue the resistance. "There is no turning back from this battle," he declared. Today's protest began with citizens gathering in Skanderbeg Square, while protesters are expected to march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where they will continue to call for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
