Arsenal will begin the defence of their Premier League title at home to newly promoted Coventry, in the match that will open the 2026-27 season on August 21.
Meanwhile, Manchester City, who will start their first season in 10 years without Pep Guardiola on the bench, will host Bournemouth in their first league game. Manchester United will travel to the field of another promoted team, Hull City, while Liverpool will play away against Newcastle United.
The Premier League's official schedule for the new season was released on Friday morning. The championship will start a week later than in the 2025-26 season, to give players more time to recover from their World Cup commitments.
The final week of the championship will take place on Sunday, May 30, six days before the UEFA Champions League final, which is scheduled to be played on June 5 in Madrid.
Before the start of the season, the traditional Community Shield match will take place on August 16. Defending champions Arsenal and FA Cup winners Manchester City will face each other. The match will be played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and will serve as the first big test for both teams before the start of the championship.
