President Bajram Begaj commemorated Saint Mother Teresa today, praising her mission and dedication to people in need.
The Head of State emphasizes that, through her service to the poor, the helpless, and the sick, Mother Teresa demonstrated the greatness of human dignity.
"The light of her soul remains a source of inspiration and healing for all humanity," writes Begaj.
According to the President, for Albanians, Mother Teresa remains a guide and a legacy to be close to those who need it most, believing in love, justice and hope.
"Today we remember Saint Mother Teresa, the Albanian missionary of charity.
With her service to the poor, the helpless, and the sick, with her faith in God, Saint Mother Teresa helped us see the greatness of the dignity of every human being and to believe in love, justice, and hope.
Today, the light of her soul remains a source of inspiration and healing for all humanity.
"For us Albanians, it is an instruction and a bequest to be close to those who need it most," the head of state writes.
