Important news has recently come regarding the possible exclusion of Israel from competitions. UEFA may be forced to make the drastic decision, as the great pressure from numerous organizations is increasing.
Despite strong opposition from a large number of nations, Israel participated in the competitions and was not banned from playing in the World Cup qualifiers, even though it failed to secure a ticket.
Given the war in Gaza, there was still growing pressure for UEFA to act and suspend Israel, in the same way that Russia was banned after its invasion of Ukraine.
