Member of the DP National Council, Lisandër Hoxha, has stated that the AKSHI dossier is expected to have major political consequences, including for the government.

Invited to the studio News24, Hoxha commented on the seizures carried out by SPAK against former director Mirlinda Karçanaj, as well as businessmen Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiraj, involving assets worth around 40 million euros.

According to him, this amount may be only a part of the real assets, adding that there may be other properties that have not yet been discovered.

Hoxha accused that this was an organized scheme, claiming the involvement of various officials and structures, while describing the situation as a deep problem in governance.

He stressed that the investigation is expected to go to the end, underlining that, according to him, there is also international support and pressure for the full clarification of the case.

Hoxha stated that this dossier could have direct political consequences, including Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government.

"Good news, that's all he has discovered, there could be many more properties. Because as we have emphasized before as the opposition, this is Edi Rama's private garden. Because anyone who could enter a public property was kidnapped by this structured criminal group, along with State Police officers and not only in this sector. I believe that this issue will be taken to the end, thanks to international pressure, to take this file to the end, which of course will also take Prime Minister Edi Rama, as well as the most corrupt government in the history of Albania, "he said.
