After three hours, the third citizen protest held in Tirana against the construction project in the Zvërnec protected area has ended.

The rally was held on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard and in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where protesters reiterated their opposition to the project, demanding its cancellation and the resignation of the government. At the end of the protest, organizers announced that the mobilization will continue tomorrow, with the fourth protest to be held at 18:00 PM in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

"More tomorrow," was the message conveyed by the participants at the close of the rally, calling for broader civic participation.

During the protest, speeches were made and banners were unfurled against the project in Zvërnec, while the organizers stated that the citizen reaction is not only related to this issue, but also to a series of laws and decisions that, according to them, favor investors to the detriment of the public interest.

Among the protesters' main demands were the cancellation of the Zvërnec project, the repeal of the law on strategic investments and the Mountain Package, and the resignation of the government.
