The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, MP Agron Gjekmarkaj, and the Chairman of the Democratic Party Branch 9 in Tirana, Eda Grimçi, in a statement to the media in front of Police Station No. 1, condemned today's incidents at the protest called by the opposition on the Boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Gjekmarkaj said that the government is on the verge of panic and is trying to forcefully lead the country towards "normality".

"DP MPs, Luciano Boçi, Klevis Balliu, are being deliberately hit. We are in a paradoxical situation, in the last protest, water cannons were fired at Berisha, several MPs were hit, this shows that the government is in the grip of panic," said DP deputy leader Agron Gjekmarkaj.
