The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, stated in a statement to the media that the majority will cooperate with any political formation that will represent the protesters, but on the condition that they distance themselves from Iran and Russia.
"On membership issues, I would cooperate with any political force. For the protesters, who want to be represented by a political force, I would cooperate on the condition that they support integration and distance themselves from Iran and Russia," Balla said.
Regarding the request to limit the mandate of politicians, Balla said that we are a parliamentary republic and in this form of regime there are no limitations.
"The Constitution is a book that is the most important law, we are a new republic, I am a partisan of the fact that we have taken the best model of a parliamentary republic, the German one.
In no republic is there a term limit; in the case of Parliamentary Republics, the term limit is determined by the vote of the people.
"I tell them, don't worry in vain, because we will not change the forms of governance," he declared.
