The operator of News24, Aldo Kashri, in an exclusive interview for the show "Kjo Javë", recounted the moments he experienced during the February 10 protest, where his life was threatened by the explosion of Molotov cocktails used by protesters.
Kashri said that on the day of the protest, I was on the express car like usual., live, filming the opposition protest. As some protesters were hitting the police with Molotov cocktails and fireworks, the police responded with tear gas.
"They threw the bags they had with Molotov cocktails and I don't know how they lit them on each other and an uncontrolled explosion started and one of the Molotov cocktails fell on top of the police car and the car caught fire, along with me."
I got out of the car by inertia and the protesters helped me put out the fire along with the police water truck. And the car was engulfed in flames along with the equipment. But a fearless protester went into the flames to get the camera.
"My first thought was to take off my sweatshirt that had caught fire, I ran to put out the fire," said Aldo.
