The leader of the Together Movement, Arlind Qori, invited to the show "Minuta e Parë" on News24, declared that the civic resistance that has passed the threshold of 100 days of protest demands the immediate dissolution of the Parliament and the overthrow of the Rama government to pave the way for early, free and democratic elections.
According to him, the current majority has completely lost the legitimacy to continue running the country.
Qori highlighted that the sustainability of the protests, which are becoming an inspiring model for international media as well, is due to the fact that the movement is not led by political parties, but is organized directly by society itself, young people and engaged citizens.
He explained that the Together Movement has made its contribution daily without seeking political protagonism.
Responding to the claims of majority MPs about verbal or physical violence, Qori emphasized that the real violence was exerted on the protesters themselves who were dragged away by the police.
He defended activists who confronted figures like Iris Luarasi, explaining that confronting officials with the painful truths of governance does not constitute violence, but is the essence of democracy. According to him, the majority is accustomed to living disconnected from reality, so it considers any direct demand for accountability for abuses and corruption of power as an “attack.”
