Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Kiev would respect the Easter ceasefire, after Russian President Vladimir Putin declared an Easter ceasefire.
"Ukraine has repeatedly announced that it is ready for reciprocal steps. We proposed a ceasefire during the Easter holidays this year and we will act accordingly," Zelensky said.
He stressed that people need an Easter without threats and a real movement towards peace, foreign media report.
