The 14th consecutive mass protest of Albanian citizens in the capital has begun. Protesters initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square and will then begin the march towards the Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard, to stop in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where the main rally is taking place.

Among the many participants, economic hardships and revolt against the government have been openly expressed.

Asked by the microphone News24, an elderly woman has detailed the difficult situation that pensioners face today in Albania, while also making strong accusations against the prime minister.

"There is a lot of poverty in Albania, pensions are low. I used to receive 64 thousand lek, now I have 100 thousand, while medicine alone costs me 150 thousand lek. I can't even drink a coffee with my pension. He has the entire government in prison and he still seeks and loves power. He doesn't behave like a man at conferences, only a thug behaves that way," the elderly woman said in outrage.
