The citizens' march continues in Tirana on the 99th day of protests against the government, while students and young people have been at the center of the protest with calls for change and against current politics.

During the march, protesters chanted "Students demand revolution!", while another repeated slogan was "The Albania of the youth, not the party!".

Young people have called on their peers and other citizens to join the protests, calling the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama their main and non-negotiable demand.

Protesters have also called for continued resistance throughout September, while warning of an escalation of protests through forms of civil disobedience.
