The civic movement against the government continues today, as the 52nd consecutive protest will be held in Tirana.

As in previous days, organizers have called for mass participation, while the main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the departure of the government.

For more than 50 days, citizens have been protesting every day in the capital, opposing not only the investment project in Zvërnec, but also a series of laws that, according to them, favor narrow interests and harm the public interest.

The protests so far have not lacked calls against the government and the political class. Protesters have demanded the resignation of the government, the repeal of the law on strategic investors, the cancellation of the "Mountain Package", as well as changes to the law on protected areas and the law on cultural heritage.

Yesterday morning, a protest also took place in front of the Parliament building, where protesters threw eggs at the vehicles of several MPs, in a sign of opposition to the majority. The action was accompanied by strong security measures and tensions, while the plenary session was interrupted several times.

The organizers have announced that the mobilization will continue every day, emphasizing that there will be no withdrawal until their demands are met.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the protest is expected to move again in the morning in front of the Parliament building, where the last plenary session of this parliamentary session will take place. The organizers aim to exert pressure on the deputies on the day the Parliament closes, while the rally is expected to continue according to the agenda of the civic movement.
