The head of the Albanian government once again focused on the positions of foreign embassies on the Balluku case. He said that there were no conditions for granting authorization for Balluku's arrest.

"I spoke in the introduction about the statements you mentioned. I read them in the right way, because I am different from you. I am able to match the statements with direct discussions. We had a debate on the issue and the debate was constructive. The statements do not speak to what is said in the comments made to them, because if it were to go in that direction, they would not have bothered to go in that direction. In this specific case, there is no condition to raise a hand and arrest a person who is not accused of corruption. Someone could be accused of corruption without evidence, because Parliament is not the notary of the prosecution. I have not gone into the merits of the case. But there is no accusation of corruption and none of the conditions for taking that measure. We have no concerns about this," he said.
