The anti-corruption spokesperson for the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli, today denounced the brother of the Foreign Minister, Ferit Hoxha.
During a press statement from the blue headquarters, Vangjeli stated that Gëzim Hoxha is under investigation by SPAK for money laundering in the AKSHI affair.
"The specific case concerns First shpk, the company that appears to be at the center of a suspected corruption and money laundering network, owned, at least in documents, by the brother of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ferit Hoxha. Gëzim Hoxha's own testimony before SPAK confirms what the opposition has been denouncing for years: a compromised public procurement system. G. Hoxha is being investigated for money laundering carried out within the framework of a criminal organization and, during questioning, has admitted that he has entered into a secret contract with the AKSHI and the National Cyber Security Authority, worth around 60 million euros, and that for this he has subcontracted several services from the company EA Solution shpk, owned by Ergys Agas, currently under the unexecuted "prison arrest" security measure. In this reality, Edi Rama's motto seems clear: keep quiet and you will be rewarded", said Vangjeli.
statement
During the presentation of the new head of the AKSHI a few weeks ago, CM Edi Rama publicly articulated his philosophy of governance: silence and blind obedience to power. The call to the administration to “keep its mouth shut” is not a coincidence, but an open statement against transparency, accountability and the rule of law. It is a public announcement of a governance model that requires submission, not service to citizens.
Not only AKSHI, but also other institutions continue to operate in tenders with the same operators, even though SPAK has identified some of them as competing fictitiously, with the suspected intention of creating the idea of a real competition, even coordinating with each other, with the final goal of declaring the predetermined offer the winner.
The specific case concerns First shpk, the company at the center of a suspected corruption and money laundering network, owned, at least in documents, by the brother of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ferit Hoxha.
Gëzim Hoxha's own testimony before SPAK confirms what the opposition has been denouncing for years: a captive public procurement system.
G. Hoxha is being investigated for money laundering committed within the framework of a criminal organization and, during questioning, admitted that he had entered into a secret contract with the National Cyber Security Agency and the National Cyber Security Authority, worth around 60 million euros, and that for this he had subcontracted several services from the company EA Solution shpk, owned by Ergys Agas, currently under the unexecuted security measure of "prison arrest".

Perhaps it is no coincidence that Gëzim Hoxha's depositions were left with so much...
During the same period, as a sign of gratitude, his brother, Ferit Hoxha, was promoted to the position of foreign minister, while he himself remained under the security measure of banning movement abroad.
The problem is whether the two prosecutors of the criminal case or the judges fall under Edi Rama's spell... The Democratic Party and public opinion demand the full and immediate clarification of this issue, without any delay and without any compromise. On Friday, at 19:00 PM, citizens in the square - for democracy, for justice and for the future of the country. Albania cannot be hostage to a regime that rewards silence and punishes the truth.
