Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has continued his accusations against the Rama government, claiming that Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at a parliamentary group meeting about the removal of Evis Sala and a project related to what he calls "Kayo" in the health sector.
In an interview for "Çim Peka Live", Ahmetaj stated that for months, according to him, attempts have been made to give the Delvina area to businessman Ron Yeffet, through a model that he described as the "Kayo concept". "For 9-10 months, they have been trying to rob Delvina, to give it to Yeffet with the Kayo concept. The state creates a company, as it created Kayo. This is where it starts: the children take 80% and the state wastes 20%", claimed Ahmetaj.
He also accused the government of creating structures that, according to him, receive public contracts without competition, while the state is left with a small share of the benefits.
"The children don't waste a single cent, but they suck the blood of Albanians. These are Rama's creatures," said Ahmetaj.
Referring to the health sector, the former deputy prime minister claimed that a similar model is being prepared for this field as well. "He also stated it in the group: the minister left because she didn't sign, but 'we will do a fantastic thing, without a tender, with the Israelis'. This is Yeffet's role," Ahmetaj declared.
He further criticized the Socialist MPs for their lack of reaction to the accusations he raised. "I don't understand the MPs of my party who don't speak out about the looting. They speak out about nothing, but they don't talk about the international caliber of looting and about what is practically a state mafia," he said.
Ahmetaj claimed that this was a case of diversion of budget money through schemes that he described as criminal, also mentioning a person he identified as "Ermal Raketa", whom he said had become Minister of Defense.
