Activist Gent Progni has responded to a reaction from Prime Minister Edi Rama, who attempted to minimize participation in the rally by stating that only 2 protesters had gathered in the square.
From the podium located in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, Progni sent a stern warning to the head of government not to dare provoke the popular revolt, announcing that tomorrow will mark an even more massive presence of citizens.
"Rama said we are 2 thousand people. Tomorrow more! Don't provoke us! Don't provoke us!", he declared amid applause from the crowd that had occupied the boulevard.
This clash over the number of participants comes at a peak moment for the protest, where the atmosphere is electrified by the lights of phones illuminating the darkness and the slogan "New Albania."
