Journalist Anduena Llabani spoke in the studio News24, that Prime Minister Edi Rama has traveled to the US accompanied by a lawyer to testify on behalf of American justice.

Llabani said that he makes this statement with full responsibility, confirming what he said earlier, that Rama would be called as a person in the know to testify about the "MacGonigal" case.

"I can say with full responsibility that I was not wrong at any moment that Mr. Rama would be summoned to the US. I did not hit on the date but not in fact. Yes, Mr. Rama was in America accompanied by a lawyer," said Llabani.

I want to explain the reasons why Rama may have been in the US and testified on behalf of the Americans.

In November of last year, the American court released or granted a conditional release decision for Charles McGonigal. The latter is known and the echoes created by his arrest and the scandals that his file with a Russian oligarch suffered, led Albanian prosecutors to a letter of communication with the US. No one has denied that SPAK has not started verifications for McGonigal, and several Albanian figures have even been questioned by SPAK. The only one who has not been questioned is Prime Minister Rama.
