Moderator of the show "Oponencje" in News24, Anduena Llabani, has made a strong and shocking warning in the studio, stating that Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to be summoned to the United States of America to testify as a person in the know regarding several files opened by American justice.

According to Llabani, the date mentioned is January 20, a moment she described as critical and unprecedented for an incumbent Albanian prime minister. “We hope that we will not get in the way of Rama on January 20, when he will be summoned to the US to testify as a person with knowledge of several files that have been opened there,” she said.

The moderator emphasized that this step constitutes a "verdict" that for the first time places the Albanian prime minister on unequal terms before the courts. According to her, this is a situation that even Rama himself does not fully expect how it will develop and what consequences it may have.

Llabani stated that the information she possesses indicates that the prime minister will not travel alone to the US, but will be accompanied by a lawyer. This, according to her, is related to the fact that the testimony will deal with issues that have long been open by the American judiciary, based on evidence that she described as shocking.

"There are very interesting elements in these files for Albanian geopolitics," said Llabani, adding that these are developments that could have a strong political and institutional impact.
