"Telenovela" Muçi closed the last series, fortunately, a happy ending, after the player's wish to stay at Trabzonspor was fulfilled. Besiktas, the team that owned his card, made the final sale of the red and black star to Trabzonspor official, with the latter exercising the right to buy his card.
The Trabzon club paid 8,5 million euros to close these negotiations, plus 1 million euros that they initially paid during the summer for his loan. At 9,5 million euros, Muçi becomes the club's most expensive purchase. Since the time he was part of Tirana, when he was sold to Legia Warsaw for 500 thousand euros, plus keeping a part of the card, Muçi continues to set records. Legia sold him to Besiktas for 10 million euros, becoming the most expensive sale for the Polish club, while for Besiktas it was their second most expensive purchase in history. From the new contract signed with Trabzonspor, Muçi will benefit 3,5 million euros per season, becoming the highest paid Albanian player in history.
Despite spending millions to buy Muçi, Trabzonspor are happy about this transfer, a fact that was also confirmed by the club's president, Ertugrul Dogan: "Muçi really wanted to stay here, and so did we, we are very happy that he will be part of us in the future. This is a record figure for our club", said the president of Trabzonspor, among other things.
