The Refereeing Sector at the Football Federation held a 3-day seminar with female referees, as part of preparations for the new football season and continuing work to increase refereeing standards in Albanian football.
During the seminar, theoretical and practical sessions were held, focusing on some of the most important situations of the game, with the aim of unifying decision-making and the correct application of the Rules of the Game.
Topics covered included new changes to the Laws of the Game, as well as incidents in the penalty area, fouls in tackling, handball and related violations, offside position, as well as communication between the referee and the captain.
An important part of the seminar were also physical tests, through which the referees assessed their physical preparation on the eve of the new season.
Such seminars are part of the ongoing work of the Refereeing Sector at the Albanian Football Association to update knowledge, improve decision-making and harmonize refereeing standards with contemporary football requirements.
