Iran is reconsidering its withdrawal from a proposed second round of direct peace talks with the United States, a senior Iranian official told Reuters.
The source praised Pakistan's "positive" efforts in trying to end the US naval blockade of ships going to and from the Iranian talks, the news agency reported.
This would ensure that Iran can participate in the next round of talks, with Tehran now "positively considering its participation in the peace talks," the official said.
However, they added that a final decision has not yet been made.
