Rihanna has celebrated twenty years in the music industry and through a post on social media she expressed gratitude for her path.
The famous singer from Barbados recalled her first artistic steps and the decision to leave her homeland to pursue her dream of a career on the global music scene.
In her Instagram post, Rihanna also included a video of her famous songs, in which the successes she has achieved are reflected in numbers.
"20 years ago I left my country, my culture, my food and my family to embark on a journey that began with the release of my first musical work! Many of you have been a part of my life and career from the beginning, and many more have joined the adventure along the way. I am eternally grateful to you. Each of you has played a crucial role in the direction this journey has taken me to today," the singer wrote on the social network Instagram.
The 37-year-old singer did not hesitate to thank her fans who have shown their love and support over the years, while expressing her gratitude to God: "I just wanted to take this moment to thank you. Thank you for the most amazing first 20 years. 20 years with the most loyal and dedicated fans who don't mess with me, 20 years of hard work and teams working hard around me, 20 years of lessons, 20 years of unforgettable experiences and achievements, 20 years with my family as my number one support system, and everyone who said "yes" to me and gave me a chance before it was "in vogue" (executives, DJs, songwriters, producers, dancers, choreographers, directors, fashion designers, photographers, glam experts, journalists, brands, mentors, etc.) - 20 years full of thanks to all of you.
