Roma responds to Inter, with the capital city team putting on a real masterpiece, overturning Atalanta in the limits, coming out with 3 points after the 2-1 success. With 9 full points in 3 matches, 10 goals scored and only 1 conceded, Roma leads Serie A. After a closed first half and untouched nets, Atalanta surprised the locals where in the 47th minute, Ederson with a real "projectile" shook the net.

Roma exerted suffocating pressure in the Atalanta area and finally, after several attempts, Hermoso headed in a corner kick to level the scores at 1-1. Roma were not satisfied with that, as in extra time, they scored a second goal, causing the yellow-red fans to burst into celebration for this great victory that places Roma among the favorites for the Serie A title, a detail that Atalanta coach Maurizio Sarri also touched on:

"We faced the most in-form team in Serie A. I believe that with this group they have at their disposal they will fight for the title until the last breath ," said Sarri.
