Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he had a phone conversation with US envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The phone call comes ahead of the next round of negotiations between Moscow, Kiev and Washington, scheduled for next week in Geneva.

"I had a conversation with President Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, ahead of the trilateral talks in Geneva. We expect really productive meetings," Zelensky wrote on social media.
