"The conflict in Ukraine is coming to an end," Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared, foreign media report.
The light at the end of the tunnel seems to have been lit by leader Vladimir Putin.
"I believe that the conflict is coming to an end," he declared, adding that "the Kremlin has "never refused" to negotiate with Brussels."
Putin then specified that he would prefer "former German Chancellor Schroeder" as an interlocutor.
