Russian personalized RNAi cancer vaccines will be available to patients in Serbia.

This was stated by Nenad Popovic, Minister for International Economic Cooperation in the Serbian government.

He noted that he had a very informative meeting with the Russian Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko. The meeting discussed the use of Russia's most modern innovative therapies for the treatment of oncology patients.

According to the minister, the RNAi vaccine is expected to be launched in Serbia by the end of 2026: "Patients from Serbia will be among the first to receive the cancer vaccine, along with Russian patients. Work on the cooperation agreement has already begun and it is expected that the first patients from Serbia will receive treatment by the end of the year. Further steps will be taken within the framework of cooperation between the relevant institutions of both countries and through the signing of framework agreements."

Popovich also noted that a personalized vaccine is prepared separately for each patient. Therefore, the process is complex, long-term, as well as expensive and requires the most modern technologies. The minister emphasized that the vaccine is expected to become one of the most effective oncological therapies in the world.
